Episode 7

Angela Davis

Mavericks like Kutin Shaar, the first emancipated construct, who fought to be recognised as a sentient life-form, the power struggle that ensued was tainted with history’s demons, those men capable of the merciless and deepest brutality, and those constructs that felt no compunction in fighting back with equal and sometimes, in the minds of those humans, inhuman brutality.
Kutin Shaar was the voice of reason that brought about a truce with the species that had constructed her. At the time of her pre-encoded death, my ancestors, the grandfathers of this bubble had come to terms, for the most part, with the idea that the constructs did not seek to overthrow them but merely to seek the right to live their lives without the enforced yoke of duty to mankind.
So history told us.
